Gateway & Bridge

Gateway
This triple-arched gateway locally known as the “Scabby Gates” or “Grand Gates” was a former entrance to Kilronan Castle. The same type of stone was used in its construction as that used in the bridge and gatehouse.

Bridge
The bridge, situated just inside the arched gateway, is in the same style as the gatehouse and the same type of stone was used in its construction.
